Emily Maynard had more than one reason to smile during Sunday's finale of "The Bachelorette." Not only did the single mother receive a marriage proposal from Jef Holm, but he slipped onto her finger the biggest diamond ring that any “Bachelorette” has received to date.

The ring, which weighs a total of 3.5-carats, is a handmade creation from celebrity jewelry designer Neil Lane. It features a 2.5-carat emerald-cut diamond with 87 smaller round-cut diamonds set around the main gemstone and on the band. The retail value is reportedly upward of $150,000.

A spokeswoman for Neil Lane confirmed that the ring is "the biggest yet" that any "Bachelorette" has received.

With two suitors left during last night's finale of the ABC reality series, Maynard, 26, quickly sent race car driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. packing and chose Holm, 27, instead. After Maynard professed him to be her "soul mate" and the "perfect person" for her, Holm, an entrepreneur, dropped to one knee in Curacao and asked Maynard, who is mom to 7-year-old Ricki, to be his wife.

“I’m so in love with you,” he told her. “I promise you if you let me into your life and Ricki’s life you will never feel lonely ever again.” The show ended with Maynard, Holm, and Ricki walking off jeweled hand-in-hand.
