Fox's TV Return Loosely Autobiographical

Michael J. Fox's first TV series in more than a decade will debut on NBC next year, according to The Associated Press.

The series is reportedly billed as a comedy "loosely based" on Fox's life that will premiere in fall 2013.

This move back to television comes after Fox left the ABC hit Spin City in 2000, fully committing himself to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease. Fox, who became a household name through the 1980s sitcom Family Ties, was diagnosed with the Parkinson's in 1991.
