FX Networks Promotes PR Vet Dominic Pagone

Fourteen-year FX publicity veteran Dominic Pagone has been promoted to senior VP of communications at FX Networks.

The announcement was made Friday by John Solberg, exec VP of communications at FX Networks and FX Productions, to whom Pagone will continue to report.

“Dominic has been an instrumental member of the FX publicity team, and I’m really happy for him on this well-deserved promotion,” Solberg said. “In this new position he will help facilitate a more defined structure for our department, which will allow us to more effectively support of our talent, shows and networks.”

In the newly created post, Pagone will oversee trade communications, talent relations, public affairs and photo publicity for FX, FXX, FXM and FXP. He will no longer handle consumer media relations, with FX Networks’ vice presidents of media relations Roslyn Bibby and Lana Kim leading programming publicity efforts for the FX Networks portfolio.

During his tenure at FX, Pagone was the lead publicist on “Sons of Anarchy” for its entire seven-year run. He also served as the head publicist for “The League,” was the co-lead on “Justified” and launched “The Strain,” “Married” and “Man Seeking Woman.” Most recently, Pagone held the title of vice president of media relations, to which he was appointed in 2012, and has also held the positions of manager and director of media relations since joining the network in 2000.
