'Game of Thrones' Fans, Your Chance at the Iron Throne Has Come
Want to experience the thrill of being the King of Westeros without the fear of being usurped… or worse? The online fundraising platform, Omaze, is offering the opportunity to place your heinie upon the Iron Throne previously inhabited by Aerys Targaryen, Robert Baratheon and Joffrey Baratheon. Organized to benefit the AIDS-related charity (RED), this campaign gives donors the chance to win a trip to the Belfast set of Game of Thrones for an exclusive tour of the premises, a peek in the costume department, a stay in a 4-star hotel and, of course, a few precious minutes in the Iron Throne.
A multi-tiered donation systems allows you to choose the specific number of chances you’ll have to win this royal experience. $10 donors will be granted 100 chances, while a $10,000 donation secures you 100,000 chances, as well as three posters autographed by such Westerosi luminaries as George R.R. Martin, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner and Peter Dinklage. But make sure to only bid what you can afford! You know how strict those Lannisters are about paying debts.
