And they lived happily ever after...

... said no one ever on Game of Thrones. On Sunday's episode, however, it did look like one couple had a good chance of some happiness, however fleeting it may be. Tommen and Margaery successfully tied the knot, consummated the marriage -- and no one died (yet)! This hasn't happened since the off-screen nuptials between Littlefinger and Lysa Arryn, but we all know how that turned out.

Somehow, we suspect that this wedding will be overshadowed by the upcoming union between Sansa Stark and Ramsay Bolton, whose father Roose had a hand in killing her brother and mother at the Red Wedding. After all, she only consented to the marriage after Littlefinger convinced her to be proactive and make them pay. We shudder to think what coin Sansa will use. What other moves were made? TVGuide.com breaks down the power shifts in "High Sparrow":

Power Tripping

Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) After being twice widowed (first Renly, then Joffrey), Margaery finally attained her dream of becoming queen, with a kind, young king by her side doing her every bidding, thanks to his discovery of the joys of sex. King Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman) may be the First of His Name, but Margaery is the first in the hearts of everybody in King's Landing. Your move, Cersei.

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) Oh, what a difference context makes! Last week's beheading was not received well, but Jon had more success. As Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, when Janos Slynt (Dominic Carter) got too mouthy and refused a direct order, well, Jon had no choice in the matter. Like Ned Stark taught him, you behead oathbreakers, and you do the honors yourself. The justice was swift, to the point and had the benefit of earning Stannis' (Stephen Dillane) respect.

Sansa Stark/ Littlefinger (Sophie Turner, Aidan Gillen) Despite her misgivings, Sansa decided that seeking revenge was better than always running or being someone's pawn (although Littlefinger is probably using her, but at this point it aligns with her wishes). Not only does marrying Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) allow her a chance at payback, this also positions her back home, where she can reestablish the Stark name as the rulers of Winterfell. As that random wise old lady in her chambers said, "The North remembers."

Staying Power

Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) The Faceless Man acolyte is sweeping floors and washing dead bodies, and then also gave up all her worldly possessions (including Needle), which... we don't know what all that means except that she's now a prime candidate for tiny house living. But hey, spring cleaning is never a bad thing, and she's safe and well fed. If only that strange girl would stop slapping her!

Podrick Payne (Daniel Portman) Baby steps! The faithful squire earned the trust of his knight Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) enough that she was able to open up about her past, in addition to her promise to teach him to fight and ride, which we hope he has the aptitude for as much as his other mysterious skill.

Power Failure

Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) Ugh, we hate it when Varys (Conleth Hill) is right! Although Tyrion was cautioned to stay inside the enclosed carriage on the way to Volantis to protect his identity (there's a bounty out for his head after he killed his father), he just had to stop by a brothel, where of course he was promptly taken unawares. His abductor? None other than the disgraced Ser Jorah (Iain Glen).

Cersei Baratheon (Lena Headey) With Margaery as queen, Cersei's position as Queen Mother isn't as important and certainly not as influential, as evidenced by Tommen trying to ship her off back home to Casterly Rock. Bring on the wine!
