Scott Patterson is spilling more than just coffee!

The actor -- who played diner owner Luke Danes on Gilmore Girls -- said on an iTunes Gilmore Girls-themed podcast that "there are talks going on" for something that closely resembles a cast reunion.

"I don't want to mislead the fans," he said. "I will say this, there are talks going on at the moment. I can't really go into any details, but there is some activity. I'm hopeful, and I'm in. I think it would be a big event, and I think it would be a great fan celebration."

As TVGuide.com previously reported, the cast will be getting back together at this year's ATX Television Festival.

Other fun tidbits from the podcast: Luke was only supposed to be in the pilot episode; Patterson and Milo Ventimiglia had backstage prank wars; and Patterson is #TeamDean all the way for Rory.

(Record scratch noise) Wait, what? Team Dean? This revelation prompted a colleague who shall remain nameless to send respond, "WHO THE HELL IS TEAM DEAN? I MEAN HONESTLY."

Patterson's explanation: "(Dean) was the original one. He was the most soulful and the most poetic. I think it was Dean. But Jess was so obviously the wrong one -- he was so obviously the train wreck. He was the fling that she had to have. It was always Dean because he was so in love with her."

Um. Hmm. Well, that is... an opinion he is entitled to.
