If you build it, it will come... alive?
That is Adam's (Sean Giambrone) hope on Wednesday's episode of The Goldbergs, which will pay homage to Short Circuit (and not, to be clear, Field of Dreams). After he fails to blackmail Murray (Jeff Garlin) into buying him a kit to build a replica of Johnny 5, father and son attempt to construct their own robot from household items.
