Grace Helbig, Tyler Oakley to Host Streamy Awards

YouTube stars Grace Helbig and Tyler Oakley have been set to host the 2015 Streamy Awards, it was announced Friday.

Helbig is best known for it’sGrace, her YouTube channel, which has more than 2.6 million subscribers. She also crossed over to television as the host of “The Grace Helbig Show” on E!

Oakley is described as a social rights advocate and one of the most prominent LGBTQ+ voices on YouTube, counting more than 20 million followers across social media.

“It’s amazing to be back hosting the Streamy Awards for the second year in a row,” said Helbig in a statement. “There’s no one better to do this with me than Tyler Oakley as we take over VH1 on September 17. This year will be bigger, better and even more surprising as we celebrate all the Internet has to offer.”

The 5th annual edition of the Streamys are executive produced by Dick Clark Productions’ Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Assaf Blecher and Ariel Elazar, as well as Streamy Awards founders Drew Baldwin and Joshua Cohen.

Lee Rolontz and Lara Fried will executive produce for VH1.

The 2015 Streamy Awards will air live on VH1 and its digital platforms from the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 10:00 pm E.T./P.T.
