Greg Berlanti’s ‘Blindspot’ Gets Full-Season Order from NBC

NBC has ordered an additional nine episodes of freshman action-drama “Blindspot,” TheWrap has learned.

The show has been the number one-rated new series in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, averaging a 2.7 rating, 9 share and 9.6 million viewers overall.

The series follows a Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) with no memories of her past who’s found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos.

Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately attracts the attention of the FBI, which begins to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity.

The cast also includes Sullivan Stapleton, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ukweli Roach, and Ashley Johnson.

Creator and writer Martin Gero serves as executive producer along with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Mark Pellington and Marcos Siega. Pellington directed the pilot episode. The show is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions.

“Blindspot” airs on Mondays at 10 p.m./9c.
