Greg Berlanti Sells Drama Based on Wuthering Heights to NBC

Greg Berlanti has sold two dramas to NBC, including a modern take on Wuthering Heights, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Napa, based on the Emily Bronte novel about a doomed love affair, will be written by The Whole Truth scribe Tom Donaghy. Berlanti will executive-produce with Melissa Kellner Berman.

NBC has also given a put-pilot commitment to Family Affair, a drama about two Connecticut families who reluctantly come together after an accident kills the mother and father who were having an affair. Berlanti will executive-produce with Berman and Gossip Girl's Sara Goodman will write the script.

Berlanti, who has two new upcoming series, Arrow and Golden Boy, has already sold a medical drama this year to ABC.
