It's taken nearly three years for Heidi Montag to feel comfortable in her body again after her radical plastic surgery makeover in 2009.

Montag, 25, made headlines when she underwent 10 plastic surgery procedures in a single day, leading People to claim she was "addicted to plastic surgery." Though the former Hills star has never admitted regretting the procedures, she did tell Celebuzz that it's not something she's likely to repeat.

"I wouldn't ever do it again, that's for sure," Montag said. "It was a lot more than I could have expected."

Since the surgeries, Montag has made an effort to put her tabloid past behind her, including taking a step back from the spotlight for most of this year. (Her last television series was the VH1's 2011 reality show Famous Food.) "I'm really looking forward to the next phase in my life. I know I'll never be able to get away from a lot of it, but I won't give up trying to prove I'm more than just that."

About the surgeries, Montag added, "I feel really thankful that it all came out so well — it could have been really disastrous."

Though the starlet still uses a lot of creams and other scar reducers, Montag is almost fully recovered from the procedures, which included breast implants, liposuction on her stomach and thighs, a brow lift and a nose job.

"My doctor originally told me it would take two years, so it's finally settling in now. It feels really good to be healthy and strong," Montag said.

Now that Montag is nearly fully healed, we're left to wonder if she'll return to her reality show roots. Until then, Montag, who is still married to Spencer Pratt, does have one project in the works: In Oct. 2011, she revealed her plans to write a memoir.
