Sorry, Star Wars fans, but there will be no trailer or new clips from The Force Awakensat Comic-Con.

But that doesn't mean you'll be leaving Friday's panel empty-handed (so to speak). Instead of a new trailer the panel will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the super-secretive film, Entertainment Weekly reports. The film was completely locked down to press during production, and still is, so the panel will hopefully cast some pretty bright lights on exactly what went down on set.

Although there's still no word of which cast members will join J.J. Abrams,Lawrence Kasdan and Kathleen Kennedy, according to EW, there will be several actors who haven't yet spoken publicly about their roles.

There will also be two presentations on Friday morning about upcoming Star Wars books. Chuck Wendig (Blackbirds), author of the novel Star Wars: Aftermath will be on hand to discuss his personal history with Star Wars, though he won't be able to be too detailed about his new book, which explores the battles between the Empire and the Rebellion after Return of the Jedi. (The book will be released on Sept. 4.)

Wookiees! Zombies! The Hoff! 12 things we're psyched for at Comic-Con

Alexandra Bracken (the Darkest Minds series) will discuss The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy - a series of first-person perspectives from Leia, Luke and Han about the original Star Wars trilogy.

Adam Gidwitz (A Tale Dark and Grim series) will talk retelling The Empire Strikes Back from Luke's perspective in So You Want To Be a Jedi and Tom Angleberger (the Star Wars Origami books) will share how he found humor in Return of the Jedi for Beware the Power of the Dark Side.

Finally, Tony Diterlizzi (The Spiderwick Chronicles) will show his picture book retelling of the original trilogy, illustrated by the late Ralph McQuarrie, the concept artist who created much of the look for the galaxy far, far away.
