‘Imitation Game’ Scribe Graham Moore’s NBC Show Scores Straight-to-Series Order
Graham Moore, Oscar-winning screenwriter of “The Imitation Game,” has landed a 10-episode straight-to-series order from NBC for his viral-outbreak drama, a collaboration with “World War Z” director Marc Forster.
The series follows a woman who exhibits mysterious symptoms, and then finds herself in the center of an epidemic with global consequences. Meanwhile, across the world, an FBI agent investigates a seemingly unrelated terrorist attack that leads him to the brink of madness.
The untitled program delivers a candid look at an outbreak that pushes its characters to extremes, revealing the best — and very worst — humanity has to offer.
