J.J. Abrams is developing an event series based on the final screenplay from Twilight Zone creator Rod Serling, Deadline reports.

Abrams' production company, Bad Robot, has acquired the rights to The Stops Along the Way, the plot of which has not been made public. Serling called the script "lovely" before his death in 1975.

Meanwhile, a Twilight Zone reboot directed by Bryan Singer is in the works for CBS.
