Jackman and Gyllenhaal Capture Box Office

Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal captured the box office's final summer weekend with a steady estimated $21.4 million domestic for their film Prisoners in its opening weekend.

Trailing the crime thriller was last week's box-office sensation Insidious: Chapter 2, which raked in $14.2 million domestic in its second weekend in theaters, bumping its gross total to $50.5 million for the horror film, which was produced with a $5-million budget.

The Top 10's largest-grossing film, We're The Millers, had yet another solid weekend, finishing in seventh with $4.3 million on the weekend.
