Joel McHale Says There Could Actually Be a ‘Community’ Movie (Video)

Joel McHale gave “Community” fans hope for a movie, as well as another season on Yahoo when he stopped by “Conan” on Monday.

When asked about the the show’s future, the actor said that he would do a movie, but only if creator and showrunner Dan Harmon writes it.

“I think we will do a movie if Dan will write the script,” he said. “And believe me, I’d love to do another season.”

“Six seasons and a movie” became a rallying cry for fans low-rated series, which frequently found itself on the brink of cancellation during its five-season run on NBC. Yahoo picked the comedy up for a sixth season last summer.

The season 6 finale of “Community” airs Tuesday on Yahoo Screen.
