Judith Hill emerged as "The Voice's" possible one to beat after wowing all four coaches on the season premiere of the hit NBC reality competition series.

The singer, who impressed Adam Levine, Usher, Shakira and Blake Shelton with her rendition of Christina Aguilera's "What a Girl Wants," stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday to dish about why she picked the Maroon 5 frontman to be her coach.

"[We will be] an interesting collaboration with his pop/rock background and my soul background," Judith told Kit Hoover and guest co-host Holly Robinson Peete.

Judith - whose parents are also professional musicians, who have worked with the likes of Billy Preston, Bob Dylan and Chaka Khan -- first gained notoriety as she prepared to perform with the late Michael Jackson on his "This Is It" tour, something she now looks back on and calls "bittersweet."

"It was a whirlwind of emotions, to sing with the King of Pop, was a dream come true. I learned so much for him," she said of the late singer.

"I was completely heartbroken when he passed... I had just seen him the night before. It was a really difficult time," Judith, who sang "Heal the World" at the singer's memorial service, said.

Working alongside Jackson - though brief - is still impacting Judith as she advances in her career.

"I feel like I always owe [some of my success] to him and I look back and see how he has blessed me," she told Kit and Holly.

Adding, "I'm here and it's a new chapter in my life."
