Kim Richards to Exit ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ (Report)

Kim Richards will not be returning to “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as a cast member next season.

E! News reported that a “source connected to the show” confirmed that Richards may return for a cameo or a few appearances, but not as a full-time series regular.

A Bravo spokeswoman wouldn’t comment, but told TheWrap “no casting decisions have been made for next season.”

Reps for Richards did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

E! News quoted another source that claims it’s unlikely the 50-year-old reality star will return.

Richards, an original cast member since 2010, has been struggling with alcohol addiction. According to E! News, the reality star is back in rehab following her daughter Brooke Brinson’s wedding in Mexico.

“She’s doing OK, a lot better than she had been,” a source told E! News, adding that Kim has been in a treatment center for a few days.

Last month, Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She was later charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, obstructing, delaying a peace officer or EMT and battery.

Following the arrest, Richards told Dr. Phil through tears: “I’m a very strong person, and I have been sober. I haven’t been working a program. Living through a season on a show, sometimes it’s hard to just get through it. The fans are really hard on me.”

She later stormed out of the interview, when she believed three of her children were there to hold an intervention. Days later, she checked herself into rehab.

The ratings for “RHOBH” held steady in Season 5, averaging about 1.8 million viewers.
