Lady Gaga to Perform at the Oscars

So much for trying to keep her Poker Face!

Academy Awards producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron spilled the beans Thursday that Lady Gaga will perform at the ceremony on Feb. 22.

"Lady Gaga is a once in a lifetime artist who's musical evolution keeps growing. We are proud to have her perform on the Oscars for the very first time," Zadan and Meron said in a statement.

The "Just Dance" and "Born This Way" singer will give a special tribute performance, but it is not yet known what she will sing on the telecast. She joins an impressive and eclectic list of performers including Jennifer Hudson, Anna Kendrick, Common, John Legend, Maroon 5, Tim McGraw, Rita Ora, Tegan and Sara and The Lonely Island

Lady Gaga took the stage at the Grammys this past Sunday, where she and collaborator Tony Bennett sang a duet and also won the award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

The 87th Academy Awards airs Sunday, Feb. 22 at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
