Lance Bass Reveals ‘Pedophile’ Was ‘Inappropriately Touching’ Him During ‘NSYNC Years (Video)

Lance Bass just revealed that he was “inappropriately” touched by a “pedophile” as a teenager, and seems to suggest other members of his former boy band ‘NSYNC were, too.

Bass dropped the claim while appearing on Wednesday’s episode of “The Meredith Vieira Show” and discussing Ashley Judd‘s recent claims that she was sexually harassed by a high-powered Hollywood studio executive earlier in her career.

“It happens to men too. It’s a two-way street. It had happened to me when I was 16 or 17 years old,” Bass said. “When we started, there was someone that we worked with that was inappropriately touching us. I wasn’t even aware then, at 16, that this guy was a pedophile and he was touching me. Oddly, I didn’t feel victimized at the time because I was very aware of it but it happened to us too.”

“Did you ever say anything?” another panelist asked, to which the singer replied, “No.”

“I mean, with the guys we would talk about it, we would kind of joke about it but it’s not a joking thing — but as a kid, it was just odd,” Bass explained. “I am glad that we were aware of it and we didn’t feel victimized at the time.”

In the clip from the episode, the singer doesn’t specify who “the guys” are, but simple math suggests he’s referring to Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, since Bass joined ‘NSYNC in 1995, when he was 16.

Representatives for the show and Bass have not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for clarification.
