Oh, Lisa Vander-fabulous! That's what Camille Grammer called the successful restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump on their series, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Lisa has a larger-than-life personality and the fab-sized lifestyle to match it. While other "Housewives" dodge evictions, addictions, divorces, and other nasty personal problems, the witty Brit seems above it all.

It seems only natural that Mrs. Vanderpump would be offered her own show. Her hubby Ken, dog Giggy the Pom, daughter Pandora and son Max seem like a made-for-TV family. Even Lisa's associates are infinitely watchable. Who can forget houseboy Cedric or Pandy's incredible wedding planner who swirled around like a campy cartoon character? Kevin Lee still has the defining punchline of the Bravo series: "Beverly Hills, dahling! Chi, chi, chi, chi."

Like Bethenny Frankel and Kim Zolciak before her, Lisa's new spin-off show will take place on the network that made her a Bravolebrity. There is a twist, however. Frankel's "Bethenny Ever After" and Zolciak's "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding" focused on the reality stars' new babies and marriages. The Vanderpump show focuses on Lisa's LA hot spot, SUR.

"Vanderpump Rules" is not the expected spin-off. The cast of the show will consists of Lisa's gorgeous SUR employees. Lisa and Ken also own a Beverly Hills dining establishment called Villa Blanca. According to their site, Villa Blanca is a "stylish restaurant (that) serves Italian, Mediterranean and Asian food." In contrast, SUR is in West Hollywood and staffed by models. Last season, viewers watched Lisa battle it out with Ken over renovations.

If fans are wondering what kinds of characters they will see working at the chic restaurant-bar, they only need remember last season. "RHOBH" diva Brandi Glanville recognized SUR waitress Scheana Marie Jancan as one of her Eddie Cibrian's mistresses. Glanville's ex-hubbie Cibrian has moved on with current wife, LeAnn Rimes. Meanwhile, the waitress/mistress Scheana Marie has trademarked her name as evidenced by her little ™ after her name on Twitter. Apparently she's also a singer as her Twitter bio reads, "Tune into Bravo's #VanderpumpRules this Jan to see me and my hot friends new show!!! My debut single 'What I Like' now available on iTunes!!! In your dreams..."

Unfortunately this show appears not to be about Lisa at all. This could be a mistake on Bravo's part. Who can forget Lisa leading a live animal through Kyle Richards' new home? Lisa is the amusing glam goddess of offensive barbs such as "The Maloof hoof" and the doyenne of aspirational parties. In addition to her brazen sense of humor, her lavish wealth and opulence is untouched.

So will this new series work with only sprinkles of Madame Pump? That remains to be seen.
