Marlon Wayans’ ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Rendition of ‘Happy’ Scares Off LL Cool J, Queen Latifah (Video)

Marlon Wayans is happy and he wants the whole world to know it.

The actor and comedian performs the Pharell Williams hit “Happy” in a preview of his upcoming performance against Queen Latifah on Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle.”

Wayans rocked Williams’ trademark hat as he worked the crowd. However, Latifah and show host LL Cool J looked decidedly un-happy when Wayans began invading their personal bubbles.

Wayans will perform against Latifah on the May 28 episode of the hit Spike show.

The “Tonight Show” spinoff’s first season is averaging 2.9 million total viewers per episode. That impressive total is the highest in Spike history for an original series, but it’s not the show’s only Nielsen number worth bragging about. In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show’s 1.9 rating is also Spike’s best ever for an original.
