8 things we learned from Lifetime's insanely bizarre Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story

Casting is set to begin immediately.

Lifetime's Saved by the Bell take floundered when it aired in 2014, despite excitement from fans of the comedy. The pic, based on former star Dustin Diamond's Behind the Bell 2009 tell-all, only drew 1.6 million total viewers.

The Full House project will be written by Ron McGee, who penned the Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story.

Are you ready for even more Full House? Don't forget Netflix is reviving the comedy as Fuller House starring Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.
