Michael Bloomberg's Daughter Georgina Bloomberg Gives Birth

Michael Bloomberg is a grandpa! The New York City Mayor's daughter, Georgina Bloomberg, welcomed her first child, son Jasper Michael Brown Quintana, with boyfriend Ramiro Quaintana on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Us Weekly confirms.

The new mom's rep tells Us the couple welcomed their son at 4:34 p.m. in New York City. The little one weighed in at 7.7 pounds.  "Both mother and baby are doing great," Bloomberg's rep says.

Georgina, a 30-year-old professional equestrian, is the youngest of Bloomberg's two daughters with ex-wife Susan Brown. She announced she was expecting her first child with Argentine equestrian Quintana, 36, in June to the New York Post's Page Six.

"Georgina and her boyfriend are excited to be expecting a baby this winter," a spokesperson for the mom-to-be said at the time. "Her entire family has been incredibly supportive."

The rep also added the Bloomberg, 71, "is thrilled and can't wait to meet his first grandchild."

Bloomberg appeared on Saturday Night Live on Dec. 21, and joked about what he'll be doing after he leaves office. "I'll be fulfilling a lifelong dream of enjoying a small soda on a nonsmoking beach," he quipped.
