Michael Jackson's Son Prince Hired as 'ET' Correspondent (Video)

The Wrap

Prince Michael Jackson is moonwalking into the entertainment industry at the age of 16.

"Entertainment Tonight" has hired Michael Jackson's eldest son as its newest correspondent.  He has already interviewed "Oz the Great and Powerful" stars James Franco and Zach Braff, alongside director Sam Raimi.

Prince's first gig was fitting (and maybe purposely planned?) considering his father famously played The Scarecrow in Sidney Lumet's 1978 "Oz"-inspired feature film, "The Wiz: The Super Soul Musical Wonderful Wizard of Oz."

During the interview, which airs Monday night on the CBS entertainment news program, Prince asks his subjects for advice on how to break into the industry since he aspires to be "a producer, director, screenwriter and actor."

"I always tell people, just go out and try, and stop waiting around or dreaming it's going to happen," Franco answers. "Just go and start doing things on your own."

And that's exactly what Jackson appears to be doing -- with a little help from "ET" correspondent Brooke Anderson, who mentored him before his first on-camera interview and remarks that he seems wise beyond his years.

"That's what most of my people say," Jackson responds. "That was all thanks to my dad. He raised me right."
