Miley Cyrus Shares a Joint With Press After VMAs

Attention, Miley Cyrus — this isn’t typically what people mean when they say they’re holding a joint press conference.

Cyrus followed up her hosting gig at the MTV VMAs on Sunday by meeting with the media and sharing a brief statement — and some of her stash.

“Because you’re all my friends, and my song is kind of, sort of about the love of marijuana/the love of humankind, I brought a little joint if anyone would like any. Anyone?” Cyrus offered, as evidenced by a video published by TMZ.

As it turns out, some of the assembled press did care to partake. To a fervent cry of “Pass it around, Miley,” the “Wrecking Ball” singer/perpetual headline machine slipped the weed to the crowd for their puffing pleasure.

Maybe Cyrus should have sparked up with Nicki Minaj; judging by Minaj’s caustic comment to Cyrus during the ceremony, a peace pipe would have come in handy.

At the end of Sunday night’s show, Cyrus announced that that her new album, “Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz,” was available for free online, so apparently she was in a very sharing mood.
