Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings became the most successful team in beach volleyball history following their third consecutive Olympic gold medal title on Wednesday night at 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, but is there a possible four-peat at the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro in store for the duo?

"This is my last tournament," Misty told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush in London.

"Talk her out of it, will ya," Kerri said.

Like Kerri, who has two sons with fellow volleyball player Casey Jennings, Misty wants to start her family with Los Angeles Dodgers catcher husband Matt Treanor.

"There's more to life if I want a family," Misty explained.

But will Misty catch Olympic fever in the next two years as the games in Rio approach?

"I think she's done. She deserves to be done," Kerri proudly said of her partner.

"I'm ready. My body's ready," Misty added.

"You're ready for a family. We gonna start that as soon as we land in the States?" Billy suggested

"Yes. I'm tired of practicing," she said with a laugh.

And Misty isn't the only one feeling the itch to expand her family.

"Is number three coming for you?" Billy asked Kerri.

"Absolutely," Kerri said.

As for winning their match against fellow Americans Jennifer Kessy and April Ross, Kerri explained that they poured every part of themselves into earning their third gold medals.

"It's really scary to want something so badly and every day we put our heart and souls into it, literally," she told Billy. "We worked before, but we put our souls into this one and so in some ways it would have been okay [if we had lost] because we truly enjoyed every second of it. But we were here to win and to lose to another American team would just be hard, really hard to swallow."
