Modern Family Kids Get Pay Raises for Season 4

A month after the Modern Family parents got much publicized raises, their TV kids are finalizing deals to triple their current salaries, Deadline reports.

Which Modern Family character has been re-cast?

Sarah Hyland, Nolan Gould, Rico Rodriguez and Ariel Winter are set to take home approximately $70,000 an episode. The agents of Modern Family's other kid star, 5-year-old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (Lily) also tried to renegotiate but since she has only been with the show one season — after replacing twins Ella and Jaden Hiller, who played the original baby version of Lily — those talks did not move forward.

The Modern Family kids started renegotiating their contracts the day after their adult counterparts reached an agreement with 20th Century Fox, which produces the Emmy-winning series for ABC. The talks for adult stars Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara resulted in a missed table read for the Season 4 premiere and a lawsuit filed by all five actors.

Modern Family kids now seeking raises

All five stars, who were originally each making $65,000 an episode, are now making in the $170,000-$180,000 range with year-to-year increases and a portion of the show's back-end.

The new season of Modern Family premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 9/8c on ABC.
