NBC is planning to shut down production on Prime Suspect after it wraps filming Episode 13, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Prime Suspect, which stars Maria Bello as a female detective in a man's world, is currently wrapping Episode 12, with Episode 13 set to film this week. Though NBC is still "considering their options" for the future of the series, Deadline.com reports that people on the show have already been told the series is canceled.

The remake of the BBC series debuted soft, drawing only 6 million viewers in its Thursday at 10/9c timeslot. Its latest outing drew 4.86 million viewers. After ordering six more scripts of the cop drama last month, NBC did a big push to drive viewers, airing repeats every weeknight at 10/9c for a week, along with an airing on Saturday night.

The news comes one day after NBC released its midseason schedule without a slot for the show. Other shows missing from the lineup include new series Bent and Awake.
