EXCLUSIVE: Touring The Set Of Nickelodeon's "Sam & Cat"

Nickelodeon fans are about to get a double dose of the network's comedy princesses, Jennette McCurdy (Sam) and Ariana Grande (Cat), in the upcoming double spinoff series "Sam & Cat" (a first for a kids' show — and maybe ever). That's right; the stars of "iCarly" and "Victorious" (both series have ended) are teaming up as roomies with a plan.

But things will likely get a little nuts with this mismatched BFF duo. "They're two very unlikely roommates who come together and form a very interesting bond because they have to start a babysitting business together," Jennette says in this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the brand-new "Sam & Cat" set. ("The Yo Show" gained first access to their Hollywood studio!)

Jennette's favorite part of the set: The red, blue, and silver retro fridge. "Ooh, fake food," she adds as she opens its U-shaped door.

Fun fact: Sam rides a beast of a motorcycle in the series, so Jennette was supposed to learn how to ride one in real life, but she wasn't having it: "They wanted me to learn how to ride a motorcycle, like, when we first started shooting, but I didn't because I was supposed to go out in the middle of a desert and learn from some random dude that I didn't know. So I was like, 'Ehh...'"

Every comedy duo needs an equally hilarious foil, and Sam and Cat meet their match in young Sophia Grace and Rosie, who have guest starred on a couple episodes. Do those names sound familiar? They're the adorable British cousins who perform pop songs regularly on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "They play these little mischievous creatures," Jennette jokes.

"Sam & Cat" premieres Saturday, 6/8 at 8 PM on Nickelodeon.
