The show must go on.

That was the apparently the mandate at Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Monday as the hosts of both late-night stapes taped episodes of their respective programs just hours before Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on New York City.

The twist? They did so without any studio audiences.
