Well, that was quick.

After tweeting on Tuesday that she was thinking about leaving Fashion Police, Kelly Osbourne is officially out of the red-carpet policing business. The news was confirmed in a statement from E! on Friday afternoon.

"Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities," reads the statement. "We would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers."

Oscars Fashion: Hits and misses

Osbourne's departure comes days after her colleague Giuliana Rancic made an offensive comment regarding Disney star Zendaya's appearance at the Oscars. Noting the 18-year-old actress' dreadlocks, Rancic said that she looked like she smelled of patchouli oil or weed.

Zendaya fired back in an Instagram post to Rancic, who later apologized on-air.

No decisions have been made regarding Osbourne's replacement on the show.

Fashion Police returns Friday, March 30 at 9/8c on E!
