And in case that wasn't enough news for you, take a look at the series' official poster, aka key art, with everyone's favorite anthropomorphic tree front and center and a most appropriate tagline.

On Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, the team discovers a strange artifact that, when opened, unleashes a treasure map leading to a weapon known as the Cosmic Seed, which can create the next universe, natch. The Guardians have to get to the Cosmic Seed first or else the galactic big-bad Thanos, the brothers the Collector and the Grandmaster, a resurrected Ronan or Loki may get their nefarious mitts on it.

Will Friedle (Girl Meets World) will voice Star-Lord, Kevin Michael Richardson (Family Guy) will voice Groot, Vanessa Marshall (Star Wars Rebels) will voice Gamora, David Sobolov (Mighty Med) will voice Drax and Trevor Devall (Johnny Test) will voice Rocket Raccoon.
