OWN Wants More Tyler Perry — And Gets It

The numbers: 23 hourlong episodes of The Haves And The Have Nots and 22 its companion drama If Loving You Is Wrong, 22 half-hours of comedy Love Thy Neighbor and 20 of sitcom For Better Or Worse.

Perry’s shows are consistently strong draws on OWN. The Season 2 bow of Haves And Have Nots drew 3.2 million viewers last month, the best premiere in OWN’s four-year history. If Loving You Is Wrong debuted in September with 1.93 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in the core women 25-54 demo. Its second season launches March 24.
