After tangling with vampires and lawyers, True Blood alumna (and current Good Wife fan favorite) Carrie Preston is set to conquer the ups and downs of family life as the star of NBC’s untitled Suzanne Martin comedy pilot, our sister site Deadline reports.

The multi-cam project chronicles how things backfire for recent empty-nesters Mike (Rules of Engagement‘s Patrick Warburton) and Martina Gunn (Preston) when their children and their parents move back home.

iCarly‘s Miranda Cosgrove co-stars as one of Mike and Martina’s children, while Prison Break‘s Stacy Keach plays Mike’s dad.

Martin (Hot in Cleveland) will pen the script, with Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner executive-producing. Legendary director James Burrows will helm the pilot.
