'Pretty Little Liars': Three Reasons Aria and Ezra Will Get Back Together

Yahoo Contributor Network

After more drama than TV couples usually goes through, Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) finally broke the hearts of "Pretty Little Liars" fans when they ended their relationship at the end of Season 3. They survived angry parents, job losses, "A" trying to keep them apart, their age gap, and huge secrets -- but the discovery that Ezra has a son was the final straw, and Aria couldn't handle it anymore. It wasn't a simple break-up, though. In fact, both Aria and Ezra are still very much in love with each other, so what happens now? Are they destined to live the rest of their lives apart? Probably not. Here are three reasons why Ezria will probably reunite in the future.

Fans love them

People power should never be underestimated. From the very beginning, in spite of the odds, fans of the show embraced Aria and Ezra's relationship. The student/teacher thing is always controversial, but with Aria being so mature and Ezra being a total hottie, it was hard not to root for them. They hooked up in the pilot episode, so there has never been one time during the show's run that they haven't been fighting to be together.

Many viewers were heartbroken by Aria's choice to break up with Ezra and are desperate to see them reunited, preferably as soon as possible. It's hard to imagine the writers disappointing so many people by keeping them apart.

They make sense as a couple

There are so many reasons Aria and Ezra shouldn't work, but for some reason, they just make sense together. Aria's intelligence and interest in literature fit in with Ezra's job as an English teacher, and although there is an age gap between them, it's not that big. They both know how to have fun, and the chemistry between them is perfect.

They still love each other

There is nothing more soul-destroying than two people who are still deeply in love breaking up for the "greater good." For Aria, it had been coming for a while, but it had nothing to do with her feelings for Ezra. It was more to do with struggling to cope with him suddenly having a child to take care of and trying to find a way to fit in to the new life he had to make. Their feelings for each other haven't changed, and that is what will ultimately bring them back together.
