Ratings: Charles Manson Drama ‘Aquarius’ Debut Doesn’t Kill Key Demo

NBC’s Charles Manson drama “Aquarius” didn’t recruit a strong young demographic following with its Thursday debut, receiving just a 1.0 rating/4 share among adults 18-49.

However, the show performed pretty well in total viewers, pulling in 5.7 million audience members — indicating and understandable older-skewing audience. NBC topped the night overall by that metric.

Fox was able to best NBC in the main demographic by one-tenth of a ratings point, with “Bones” and “Wayward Pines.” ABC finished fourth in primetime, as “500 Questions” concluded without a big bang. Speaking of which, a rerun of CBS’s “Big Bang Theory” was both the top-rated and most-watched show of the evening.
