Ratings: CMA Awards Fall; Big Bang, Vampire Diaries Up

ABC topped Thursday with the 46th Annual Country Music Awards, though the ceremony dropped sharply from last year.

The three-hour show delivered 13.4 million viewers and a 3.8 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down 21 percent from last year's Wednesday broadcast.

CBS' The Big Bang Theory (15.6 million, 5.1) was the top show of the night, rising a tenth. Two and a Half Men followed with 13.1 million viewers and a 3.6, down slightly from last week. Person of Interest 13.5 million (3.0) and Elementary 10.5 million (2.4) were both up.

Fox's first live Thursday X Factor show scored 6.2 million viewers and a 2.3, tying a series low.

On The CW, The Vampire Diaries 3.2 million (1.5) was up, while Beauty and the Beast 1.7 million (0.6) was flat.
