Ratings: CSI, Criminal Minds Up; Idol Drops

On the heels of its Season 14 renewal, CSI grew 21 percent on Wednesday.

The drama pulled in 10.4 million viewers and a 2.3 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up four-tenths from its last new episode three weeks ago. Lead-in Criminal Minds (11.5 million, 3.0) also returned up, but Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs. Favorites (9.6 million, 2.5) was down two-tenths.

American Idol (12.7 million, 3.5) dropped three-tenths from last week.

On NBC, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (5.4 million, 1.5) and Chicago Fire (6.3 million, 1.7) both returned down. The CW's Arrow (2.9 million, 0.9) returned down as well and Supernatural (2.1 million, 0.9) was even.

ABC's The Neighbors (4.7 million, 1.4) was flat, while Suburgatory (4.2 million, 1.5) hit a series low.
