Ratings: Did Malibu Country's Premiere Score for ABC?

ABC is probably saying "TGIF." The network was No. 1 Friday night in all six half-hour slots, scoring season highs in total viewers and the adults 18-to-49 demographic.

This is part in thanks to Last Man Standing's return and the debut of Reba McEntire's new sitcom Malibu Country. Last Man Standing's Season 2 opener nabbed 7.84 million viewers and a 2.6 rating, beating out the premiere of CBS' Undercover Boss and Fox's Kitchen Nightmares. Malibu Country's series premiere scored 8.9 million viewers and a 2.0, giving ABC the highest numbers that timeslot in five years.

NBC's telethon Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together generated 6.26 million viewers and a 2.1.
