Ratings: ‘Hollywood Game Night’ Rebounds, Helps NBC Coast to First Place

NBC won Tuesday with “America’s Got Talent” topping the night. The 8 p.m. reality competition show scored a 2.2 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, and was watched by 10.4 million total viewers. At 9, “Hollywood Game Night” rebounded with a 1.4 rating, up 27 percent from the previous week.

CBS’ summer drama series “Zoo,” on the other hand, tied a series low. The freshman drama got a 1.0 rating and was watched by 5.4 million viewers.

On ABC, a new episode of “Extreme Weight Loss” followed repeats of “Fresh Off the Boat” and got a 0.6 rating, with 2.2 million total viewers.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.9 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 8.6 million, according to preliminary numbers thanks to its two reality shows.

CBS tied for second in ratings with Telemundo, both with a 0.9/3. CBS also came in second in total viewers, with 6.5 million, while Telemundo was fifth with 2 million. Aside from “Zoo,” CBS aired reruns of “NCIS” and “NCIS: New Orleans.”

Univision was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 2.2 million.

ABC was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2, but third in total viewers with 2.4 million. Four repeat episodes of “Fresh Off the Boat” dominated the network’s primetime lineup beginning at 8, with “Extreme Weight Loss” at 10 the only new episode of the night.

The CW and Fox tied for sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2. Fox was also sixth in total viewers, with 1.7 million viewers tuning in, while CW was seventh with 1 million total viewers. At 8, Fox aired a new episode of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” which got a 0.5/2, with 2.3 million total viewers.
