Ratings: ‘Minority Report’ Tumbles Even Lower

Fox’s “Minority Report” took another hit in the ratings Monday night, while NBC’s new offering “Blindspot” stayed steady.

“Minority Report” delivered only 2.3 million viewers and a 0.7 rating/2 share in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic, down from 2.7 million and 0.9/3 last week, according to Nielsen estimates.

That is a 19 percent drop in total viewers and a 22 percent drop in the key demo. The show opened to 3.1 million viewers and a 1.1/3, meaning it has lost 25 percent of its premiere audience in total viewers and 36 percent in the key demo.

On NBC, “Blindspot” retained most of its audience for the second week in a row, delivering 9.1 million viewers and a 2.5/8 in the key demo, down slightly from its 2.6/8 last week.

NBC won the night with a 2.9/9 and just under 11 million viewers. “The Voice” aired from 8 to 10 p.m. ET, delivering a 3.2/10 and 11.9 million viewers. “Blindspot” followed at 10.

CBS finished in second place in the key demo with a 1.9/6 and third in total viewers with 9.9 million. “Big Bang Theory” was the top-rated show of the night at 8 p.m., with a 3.7/13 and 15 million viewers. “Life in Pieces” followed at 8:30 with a 1.9/6 and 9.2 million viewers. “Scorpion” delivered a 1.8/5 and 9.8 million viewers. “NCIS: Los Angeles” aired at 10 with a 1.2/4 and 7.9 million viewers.

ABC came in third in the key demo with a 1.6/5 and second in total viewers with 10.3 million. “Dancing With the Stars” aired from 8 to 10 p.m., pulling a 1.7/5 and 11.8 million viewers. “Castle” followed at 10, delivering a 1.3/4 and 7.3 million viewers.

Fox came in fourth place with a 1.1/3 and 3.2 million viewers. “Gotham” scored a 1.5/5 and 4.2 million viewers at 8 p.m. “Minority Report” followed at 9.

Univision finished in fifth with a 0.8/3 and 2.2 million viewers.

Telemundo came in sixth with a 0.6/2 and 1.6 million viewers.

The CW finished in seventh place with a 0.4/1 and 1.2 million viewers. “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” got a 0.4/1 and 1.4 million viewers at 8 p.m. “Whose Line Is It Anyway” got a 0.4/1 and 1.2 million viewers at 9. “Significant Mother” closed the night at 9:30 with a 0.2/1 and 658,000 viewers.
