Ratings: ‘Rookie Blue,’ ‘Mistresses’ Finales Rise But ‘Big Brother’ Wins the Night

ABC’s “Mistresses” and “Rookie Blue” saw higher numbers in their season finale episodes Thursday, but CBS’ “Big Brother” won the night, according to preliminary numbers.

While, like last Thursday, early numbers were skewed due to local NFL pre-emptions, preliminary data puts CBS on top. “Big Brother” got a 2.4 rating and was watched by 8.2 million viewers, though a repeat of “Big Bang Theory” was the most watched show of the night.

“Mistresses” on ABC, wrapping up its third season, got a 1.4 rating, up from 0.8 last week, while “Rookie Blue,” wrapping up Season 6, got a 1.2 rating, also up from last week’s episode, which got a 0.6.

CBS was first in ratings with a 1.9 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.2 million. Following repeats and “Big Brother,” “Under the Dome” at 10 p.m. got a 1.4/5 and was watched by 5.7 million viewers.

NBC and ABC tied for second in ratings with a 1.3 rating. NBC got a 5 share, while ABC got a 4. NBC also beat ABC in total viewers, with 5.9 million, while ABC got 5.2 million to come in third.

At 8, “Food Fighters” on NBC got a 1.3/5 and 5.4 million total viewers, while at 9, “Dateline Mystery” got a 1.3/4 and 6 million total viewers.

Fox, airing repeats of “Boom” and “Bones,” was fourth in ratings with a 1.2/4 and in viewers with 4.7 million.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 2.3 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 1.7 million.

The CW aired repeats of “Beauty and the Beast” and “Arrow” and was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.6 million.
