Ratings: Supernatural Steady, Neighbors Comes Down to Earth, Presidential Debate Up vs. 2008

The CW’s Supernatural received a warm welcome in its new Wednesays-at-9 home, delivering 1.8 million total viewers — its largest audience since Feb. 10 — and a 0.8 demo rating that’s right on par with its previous opener.

Versus its May finale, the show was up 12 percent in audience and a tenth in the demo. And mind you, this was with an Oh Sit! lead-in (915K, 0.3); next week, Arrow swoops into the lead-off spot.

(That said, ABC notes, The Neighbors nonetheless stands as the week’s most watched new comedy.)
