Ratings: ‘Undateable’ Live Episode Sees Slight Uptick, Helps NBC Tie CBS in Demo

NBC managed to tie CBS atop the key demo on Tuesday despite a fallen “Voice,” which dipped below a 2.0 rating for the first regular episode ever.

Following the down singing competition, Chris D’elia sitcom “Undateable” saw a slight uptick from its live one-hour episode. Also helping knot the two nets up were double-digit drops from “NCIS: New Orleans” and the “Person of Interest” finale. As a matter of fact, the entire CBS lineup hit lows in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic.

The CW finished fourth in prime time, sending Fox to fifth place, where it tied with Univision in the main demo.

CBS and NBC tied for first in ratings, both with a 1.6 rating/5 share in the key demo. CBS was first in total viewers with an average of 11.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. NBC was second in total viewers with 6.6 million.

For CBS, “NCIS” at 8 p.m. earned night-highs of a 2.0/7 and 14.2 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” had a 1.6/5 and 13.2 million viewers. “Person of Interest” ended its season with a 21 percent demo drop, posting a 1.1/4 and 8.2 million viewers.

For NBC, “The Voice” dipped to a 1.9/7 and 8.8 million viewers at 8. “Undateable” at 9 rose 8 percent to a 1.3/4 and had 4.3 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” at 10 received a 1.6/5 and 6.7 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 1.3/4 and in viewers with 6.2 million. The “Dancing With the Stars” results show managed just a 1.4/5 and 10.1 million viewers at 8. The week’s second hour was down 26 percent versus the performance show on Monday. At 9, “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” got a 1.5/5 and 4.5 million viewers. “Forever” at 10 posted a 1.1/4 and 4.1 million viewers.

The CW was fourth in ratings with a 1.1/4 and in viewers with 2.8 million. At 8, “The Flash” had a 1.4/5 and 3.6 million viewers. At 9, “iZombie” got a 0.7/2 and 1.9 million viewers.

Fox and Univision was fifth in ratings, both with a 1.0/3. Fox was fifth in viewers with 2.7 million; Univision was sixth in viewers with 2.6 million.

For Fox, “Hell’s Kitchen” at 8 posted a 1.2/4 and 3.4 million viewers. The “New Girl” season finale at 9 got a 1.1/3 and 2.2 million viewers. At 10, the finale of “Weird Loners” received a 0.6/2 and 1.6 million viewers.

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in viewers with 1.5 million.
