Ratings: ‘Vacation’s’ Ed Helms Helps ‘Running Wild With Bear Grylls’ Climb

NBC scaled the Monday mountain to an outright Nielsen victory, with the other three Big 4 networks settling in a ratings tie for second.

“American Ninja Warrior” was the top show last night in both the key 18-49 demographic and among total viewers. “Running Wild With Bear Grylls” enjoyed a 17 percent bump from last week thanks in part to the star power of “Vacation’s” Ed Helms.

On ABC, the “Bachelor in Paradise” Monday time slot premiere did better than Sunday’s, but the “After Paradise” debut that followed couldn’t retain viewers. Over on the CW, the premiere of “Significant Mother” did a heck of a lot better than “Dates,” but that’s not saying much.
