Ratings: 'The Voice' Slides as CBS Wins Night

NBC's "The Voice" took a ratings hit Tuesday night but still took the night's top ratings, while CBS scored an overall win for the night, according to preliminary numbers.

CBS took first place in ratings with a 2.2 rating/6 share in the key 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with 12.9 million. "NCIS" at 8 p.m. drew even with its last original airing two weeks ago, drawing a 2.7/8 and taking 16.8 million total viewers, while "NCIS: Los Angeles" the following hour dipped slightly to a 2.6/7 and had 13.9 million total viewers. The freshman drama "Golden Boy" inched down at 10 to a 1.4/4 and took 8 million total viewers.

NBC was a close second in ratings and third in total viewers with a 2.1/6 and 6.2 million. "The Voice" at 8 was down 13 percent from last week, taking a 4.0/12, and had 12.4 million total viewers. The new dating series "Ready for Love" at 9 was even with last week, drawing a 1.2/3 and taking 3 million total viewers.

ABC tied Fox for third place in ratings with a 1.5/4 and was second in total viewers with 8.8 million. "Splash" at 8 ran even with last week with a 1.1/2 and had 4.9 million total viewers, while "Dancing With the Stars" the following hour slipped 9 percent to tie a springtime results-show low of 2.0/5 and took 12.4 million total viewers. "Body of Proof" at 10 inched up to a 1.5/4 with 9.3 million total viewers.

Fox, which was fourth in total viewers with 3.5 million, ran repeats except for "Hell's Kitchen" at 8. It slid 10 percent to a 1.9/6 and had 4.7 million total viewers.
