Ratings: World Series Final Game Down From Last Year's Series-Closer

The San Francisco Giants scored a decisive victory with the deciding Game 4 of the World Series on Sunday night, but the numbers for Sunday night's game are still down compared to last year.

Sunday's game, airing at 8 p.m. on Fox, drew 15.5 million total viewers, putting it slightly above the 2011 Game 4 between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers, which attracted 15.2 million total viewers. Last year's Game 7 amassed 25.4 million total viewers -- the most-watched World Series game since the Boston Red Sox's win over the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004.
