Reese Witherspoon as Tinker Bell Is the Perfect Casting

Reese Witherspoon is adding some pixie dust to her resume! The Oscar winner will reportedly play the title role in Tink, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The upcoming live-action film is based on the Peter Pan sidekick Tinker Bell. Witherspoon will also produce and Victoria Strouse, who penned the upcoming Finding Nemo sequel, wrote the script. The project is still in development with no production start date slated just yet, although a Peter Pan prequel, Pan, is coming out this summer.

The last time these characters appeared on the big screen was in 1991 when Robin Williams starred as Peter Pan with Julia Roberts as Tinker Bell in Hook.
