Reunited: Actors who should appear on ‘Psych’ for a cast reunion

Long-time "Psych" fans are sure to remember the episode "Dual Spires," an homage to "Twin Peaks" that featured a number of actors who appeared on " Twin Peaks " back in the day. Wouldn't it be cool if upcoming "Psych" guest stars were also able to participate in a similar "reunion" episode? Here is a list of some actors who should appear on "Psych," allowing them to reunite with "Psych" stars they worked with on previous projects.

Elisabeth Moss

Now best known for her work as Peggy Olsen on "Mad Men," Elisabeth Moss first came to national attention for her role as the president's daughter on "The West Wing." Dulé Hill, who plays Gus on "Psych," was also on "The West Wing." It would be great to see Moss appear on "Psych" as Gus's love interest. This would be a great homage to the relationship between Hill and Moss's characters during their time together on "The West Wing." For added fun, why not have Bradley Whitford, Janel Maloney, or Martin Sheen join the party?

Saul Rubinek

There have been a number of "Psych" stars who also appeared in episodes of "Warehouse 13." Actor Saul Rubinek is one of the leads on "Warehouse 13," so it would make sense for him to appear on an episode of "Psych." It would be hilarious to see an episode where Shawn is assisted by a group of "conspiracy nuts," played by Rubinek, and his "Warehouse" co-stars Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly.

Lucy Lawless

Before he played Carlton Lassiter on "Psych," actor Timothy Omundson appeared on "Xena" with Lucy Lawless. How cool would it be to see Xena herself appear on an episode of "Psych"? Shawn would have a field day with pop-culture references to all the nerdy shows she has been a part of. Better still, have Lawless's current "Parks and Rec" co-star Nick Offerman tag along. As it turns out, Offerman and Omundson both appeared on "Deadwood."

Lacey Chabert

Maggie Lawson, who plays Juliet on "Psych," was once a cast member of "Party of Five," where she appeared alongside Lacy Chabert. Have Chabert guest star, and Shawn can load the episode with jokes about Jennifer Love Hewitt, or a plot point that references Jeremy London's infamous kidnapping incident.
